Linux Support Engineer – Remote
Responsibilities:
Provide L1/L2/L3 Linux technical support
Install, configure, and maintain LAMP stack servers
Fix Apache & Nginx errors, SSL installation, redirects, vhosts
MySQL database fixes, slow-query optimization, migrations
Manage system users, permissions, logs, SSH keys
Implement backup strategies (rsync, cron scripts, DB dumps)
Troubleshoot website downtime, server overload, performance issues
Secure servers: firewall, fail2ban, updates, audits
Deploy apps using Git, Docker (optional)
Write Python scripts for automation tasks
